
Last night Jay-Z performed a six hour marathon interpretation of new album cut Picasso Baby at a New York art gallery.
The art/dance/rap hybrid saw the Magna Carta star inviting members of the intimate, hand picked crowd of artists, collaborators and general creative types to perform, with members doing everything from break dancing to singing while Jigga lip synced to the track.
It seems that the purpose of the unusual show (other than because he can) was to film a docu-music video for Picasso Baby, the second track on the Magna Carta Holy Grail album, and will feature appearances from director Judd Appatow, rapper Wale and others who were all invited to take part.
