UK indie electronic music duo New Order have debuted their first new track in almost a decade. Since reuniting in 2011, they hinted that they had been working on some new material but it wasn’t until their performance at Lollapalooza Chile yesterday night that they finally unveiled “Drop The Guitar.”
Their last album ‘Waiting For The Siren’s’ was released back in 2005. They have since lost member Peter Hook and released some live recordings as well as a collection of archival recordings, Lost Sirens in 2012.
New Order is returning to America this July following their Lollapalooza appearances in Buenos Aires and Sao Paolo with tour dates scheduled in Chicago, Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
