It's no real secret that people like to do weird sh*t when they're on drugs, but the Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that Adelaide Police are linking a particular batch of pills to "bizarre incidents" such as a punter licking a club dance floor and and another acting like a chicken in the back of a taxi.
Though apparently the "bizarre" (and let's face it, pretty funny) behaviour doesn't stop there. Police said another person is believed to have stripped naked and gone for a swim in the River Torrens (oh how weird!), while a number of others took their clothes off and rubbed their bodies on the road surface, apparently to relieve severe itching (OK that is pretty weird). The ecstasy use has also been linked to an increase in the number of fights in the city and reports of people suffering hallucinations.
Superintendent Anthony Fioravanti said it was yet to be established if the ecstasy Police seized from a 21-year-old man from North Adelaide was directly related to the unusual incidents.
