Dave Sharp better known as Green Jnr, residing in Durban, has been on the scene for over a decade. He has long paid his dues and has the respect that a DJ/Producer of his calibre rightfully deserves. You might know Green Jnr’s productions ‘Strange Days’ and ‘Never There’ that were released on the world-renowned compilation series – After Dark Cape Town 2007.

Green Jnr’s mature style of playing spurs from his early days with the influences such as Farley & Heller, Robert Owens, Black Science Orchestra, George Morel and St Germain to name a few, it was these names that has slowly moulded his sound into what it is today. It spans from Deep/ Soulful House through to Tech/ Minimal House and Techno with Green Jnr getting it across with the utmost integrity.

From DJ to Producer to Promoter and also having started his own record store back in 2002 called ‘Top Shelf Records’, Green Jnr is definitely no stranger to the game, in fact the man is on the other-side of the spectrum having spent over a decade contributing and paving the avenue that we’re all traveling down now in the industry.

Green Jnr is now one of the most sought after DJ’s in Durban with no sign of a dip in his passion for the music, quality of it and the packages it comes in, his lack of pretence is enveloped in imagination an invention and for good reason, with the respect that he has, at this particular moment in time it wouldn’t be too much to say that he is one of the most highly analysed and imitated DJ on the shores of Kwazulu Natal.
