Swiss DJ and producer Andrea Oliva has been doing the rounds for some time. Never far from the lips of anyone discussing the current house scene, Oliva seemed like the perfect choice to do an exclusive Pulse mix.
With years of DJing experience already under his belt, he starting producing music, with his first track being released in 2004. He quickly began to rack up releases on labels such as Viva Music, Hideout and Cadenza Lab. Since then, he has made a name for himself by DJing in some of the biggest clubs in the world, becoming a regular fixture at the Cadenza parties at Pacha and Ushuaia in Ibiza, as well as performances at Berlin's most notorious techno establishment the Berghain.
Oliva will be playing at Freeze in Liverpool this Saturday, alongside Cadenza buddy Luciano, Josef K and Reboot. With 17 hours of music across three venues, with tickets starting at the extremely affordable price of £30 and the proceeds going to a very good cause (Claire’s House Hospice) it's worth every penny.
