MTV and Fish Eagle have joined forces for the Vodacom Durban July this year to create an experience that entertains the discerning race-goers in high fashion. The MTV Eagle Air Village is going to cover a mammoth 8,000 square meters that will be spread over six inflatable domes.
Music lovers, fashion addicts and gamers can expect immaculate décor and staging to set the atmosphere for one of South Africa’s biggest social events on our calendar with plush themes that include a ‘Man Cave’, kitted out with a Sports Bar- of course, Playstation consoles and also a Pamper Zone, this will be featuring a luxurious champagne bar and a glam cam for the ladies.
With what sounds like a mobile high-rollers hotel that will be set up for the race/party-goers to impress their elegant selves in, the audio and entertainment aspect of the MTV Eagle Air Village has been considered with just as much attention for intention to impress in. Guests will be grooving to the sounds of Black Coffee, LCNVL, Professor, Speedsta, DJ Benny Maverick, Twins on Decks, DJ Vigilante, Black Motion, Dr Malinga and Vetkuk & Mahoota with now recently added to the already stellar line-up Mafikizolo and Liquideep.
On the comedy front they have John Vlismas, Tumi Morake and Mpho Popps coming out thanks to the people from MTV, Fish Eagle and Velti Events who together have put together something that’s stands to be in danger of being the racecourse oasis at this year’s Durban July. MTV Eagle Air Village’s doors will open at 10:00 am through to 10:00 pm on the Saturday 6th July with race-goers having a choice between premium class tickets at R650.00 or first class tickets at R1950.00 from Computicket.
