Now, festival goers at the upcoming Tomorrowland in Belgium will be able to quickly add new friends on Facebook using their bands.
Everyone has met someone on the dancefloor only to lose that person seconds later in the audience. ID&T’s flagship festival Tomorrowland is hoping to avoid missed connections like this using new technology. Everyone at the festival receives a “treasure case” containing a wristband that is then activated with your personal information. At the festival, new friends can make things official with the heart-shaped button. See how it all works in the video below.
Tomorrowland expanded to two weekends this year – July 18th to July 20th and July 25th to July 27th – for the first time in its history, and sold out in record time.
