After four massive seasons, ‘Your Shot’ returns bigger and better than ever. After receiving a tidal wave of entries in 2013, the 2014 season promises to the best yet. ‘Your Shot’ will be looking to top its crowds of 10,000+ with a new series of events and contestants. The competition will run up Australia’s East Coast, stopping in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
‘Your Shot’ is an opportunity for young DJs to take their music careers to the next level. This unique competition gives DJs and hopefuls a chance to break through, and a shot at superstardom. Entry is open to all, and No DJ experience is necessary.
76 contestants will be chosen from each state. As part of the competition, ‘Your Shot' provides 6 weeks full DJ training, where every entrant will be taught the basics. Contestants will then play a set at their local ‘Your Shot’ event to compete for the prize.
What prize you say?
Winner’s will not only be given the chance to play at either Snowbombing (Austria), BPM (Mexico) or Sound LA (USA), they will also take the stage at Australia’s hottest dance festival: Stereosonic 2014. And if that wasn’t enough, DJ icon Tiësto will be there as your very own EDM tutor.
