Paris Hilton is a name that stirs up a lot of emotions in the dance music scene ever since the hotel heiress entered the world of DJing, with hate generally being the most favoured flavour. And whether you like it or really, REALLY loathe it, she's become an in-demand name on the commercial and celebrity circuit, locking in a second residency at Ibiza's Amnesia club, performing on the Ellen show and even DJing at a James Cameron-hosted Oscars party this week.
So what does Paris think of her haters? Apparently she doesn't give a flying f**k about them, as was expressed in an interview with V magazine.
"There are always going to be haters in life. I don’t pay attention to those people. I’m doing what I love and selling out shows all around the world, and I’m getting paid a lot of money to do it. I’m passionate and I work hard to keep bettering my music, my sets, and myself. That’s what really matters."
If the bit where Paris bragged about being paid loads of cash to DJ was a little annoying, then her waxing about her latest DJ fashion accessory is really going to sting.
”I love rocking my Chanel fingerless gloves,” she reveals. “I own more than 500 pairs, and I call them my DJ gloves.”
So, what's next for Paris?
"My next goal is to get into producing, and I’m excited to learn more about it. I’m working with some of the best producers in the business and I think it’s important to learn from them and soak in as much as I can."
