Breakthrough Sydney producer Flume hit the nail squarely on the head last year when he proclaimed that Australian dance music is entering a new golden age. From himself to Emoh Instead, Elizabeth Rose to Oliver Tank, Ta-Ku to Motez to Kilter...there's certainly no shortage of amazing music being produced in this country from a bounty of up-and-coming names.
Enter, fittingly, Golden Features: A mysterious Sydney producer whose debut EP dropped just days ago, though has already been pricking ears in all the right places. The four-track EP runs the gamut of sounds, ranging from accessible dancefloor pop ('Tell Me' - featuring vocals from Aussie songstress Nicole Millar), Flume-esque beats ('Factory') and straight up four to the floor electro-house ('Guillotine').
With 22, 000 + plays in just six days and Triple J's own Nina Las Vegas giving it the thumbs up, the future is looking golden. Check out the EP below.
