On Saturday, February 22nd, Underrated presents Minimal Effort with Daniel Bortz, Kedd Cook, MD, Masha and Human Resources. This monthly party is a warehouse event series that bends and adjusts to suit a number of house genres. The location is yet to be announced.
In recent years, Daniel Bortz has attracted international attention as a deep house magician. His slow, refined and emotional sound has taken him to the next level. His edit of James Blake’s ‘Limit To Your Love’ captivated listeners and recieved heavy rotation. Hardly a newcomer, Bortz has been DJing for more than fifteen years, with steady releases on the Munich imprint, Pastamusik, since 2007. More recently, Bortz has been releasing on Berlin’s Suol imprint. He released his debut full-length album, ‘Patchwork Memories’, last October. He’s currently on tour so try and catch him in Miami, NYC or San Francisco if you can’t make it to the LA show! Bortz will be accompanied by California native, Kedd Cook, and a number of talented DJs like MD, Masha and Human Resources.
