Roan AKA RudeOne got cracking at an early age with his collection, or more specifically his addiction with Jungle and D&B records that has since led him to be the well-respected DJ he is today. Being the co-founder along with Hip Hop DJ – CutKeyLow, their brand dubbed Science Frikshun Movement now plays an instrumental role in the growth of our rapidly expanding D&B scene in South Africa.

RudeOne has worked with the Knowledge Mag crew based in the UK where he was invited to play at their monthly event in Brick Lane dropping his vast and unique blend of Bass bombs which ultimately led his talents to join forces with South African Reflex Crew.

A familiar name in the world of Bass in your face, D&B party frequenters would be well aware of the weekly D&B night in Jozi Town – Addictshun that RudeOne kicked off with formidable success.  This tied the knot between himself and DJ Hyphen for what we now know as the biggest D&B night in Cape Town dubbed Pressure hosting local acts that are now claiming respect around the globe.

RudeOne’s history has been instrumental in the style of set that he plays, a soaked set that keeps the crowds packed in and banging on the floor with massive drops being flung out from behind the decks coupled with a quick mixing style. ‘The Rudeness’ – One of Africa’s finest indeed.

Something to look forward to is forthcoming event Earthdance Cape Town who is super amped to have the biggest D&B Crew involved - Science Frikshun - Drum & Bass presents RudeOne, Mr Green and BenSon on the Ignition Stage there this year - Prepare yourself to be owned!

Listen below to the exclusive mix this rude boy has conjured up for us. Respektah!
