Space Ibiza shall be branching out and opening a new club in Moscow, Russia, later this year.
In a move that echoes a similar moves by Sankeys and Pacha, Space Moscow is the latest to follow on in their expanding chain which already holds Egypt, Brazil and further Spanish cities in its growing brand. Further clubs are set to open in Dubai and New York, with NYC's branch reported to be a three level club in the heart of Manhattan that holds 3500 people at the ITC.
Meanwhile, the Promote Diversity campaign is gaining momentum across the world's coolest clubs, with hotspots such as Berghain, Output and Harry Klein putting on nights in protest of Russia's discriminative laws.
The news comes as a number of high-profile clubs—including Berlin's Berghain/Panorama Bar, Output in New York and Paris's Rex Club—revealed plans to host Protest Diversity parties in opposition to Russia's anti-gay laws and propaganda. Is this moved by Space a brave one?
