Ben UFO doesn't produce records. He is a DJ, and a very fine one at that. After spending the last 6 years helping to mastermind the output of infamous UK label Hessle Audio, the crate digger and selector remained pretty quiet on the mix compilation front, until last year when his Rinse mix exploded and topped many end of year lists. Now (and about high time in our opinion), Mr UFO returns to mix the latest installment of FABRICLIVE's flagship mix series; in celebration, Pulse have got a tidy competition to bag yourself one of two free copies of the mix, released on the 21st January.
Originally hailing from Ealing, Ben is regarded as a DJ's DJ, able to create an eclectic and exciting set that aims directly for the the dancefloor, without compromising Ben's unapologetic style that flits between house, techno, dub and everything in between. For FABRICLIVE 67, Ben includes the likes of Juniper and A Made Up Sound to Night Slugs' Jam City and house production legend Herbert. The album launches this Friday, alongside Hoya: Hoya and alternative electronica bible Sonic Router heading up rooms 2 and 3 respectively.
