It’s crazy to think that Nekkies is a thing of the past but I think Piketberg will bring bigger, better and brighter things in the near future. It seems they are on the right track with Earthdance Cape Town having just announced that psychedelic groove masters Symbolic are on their way for this year’s event.
Israel’s Symbolic, signed to Nano Records will be focusing on the dancefloor with their psychedelic progressive trance, laced with fat basslines clawed together by the mechanic rhythms and crunchy grooves of the duo, Ilan Shemi & Oshry Ben Simon.
The trance community will be stomping in full force at this year’s event with a sense of refreshed energy with the changes that have been made. The theme for this year’s event is ‘Community’, coupled with the new venue and the fact that Symbolic is the first international they announced to play – we’re in for a good ride.
