Romeo C - Gotto Be In Love (Original Mix)
Romeo C from Just Move Records brings in ‘Gotto Be In Love’ well mellow with the classic hat construction and a cutting clap, with the moving conga drums he sets up the groove just right before the vocal eases in, wording the name of the track. Intimately layered with the sound scape design the tracks comes off thought provoking and when the female vocal drops in, the space that’s opened up in the track is a great experience with all the intricate sounds nudging it along quite nicely.
Romeo C – Your Better Groove (Original Mix)
The tempo picks up slightly on this groove, the stage is still a stylish, mellow groove with quirky organ licks that show face through the long sustained keys that tie everything together through the track. The vocal sample has been worked well and placed strategically through the experience holding you close. The sequencing of the afro elements makes for an easy listen with everything else layered in makes for an easy listen.
Romeo C – Something (Original Mix)
Slowed down, the vocal brings us into this one, playing the desk on entry with the keys trickling in slowly forming the sequence that picks you up later for a smooth groove to a driving drum beat but far from over-powering. The blend of sounds and the way the vocals have been used is a great experience though-out, it takes you up then brings you back down nice and gently. Very easy listening.
