It’s Monday morning, you still hear that faint bassline and snare you fell in love with over the weekend ringing in your ears, feeling as if you’ve just run the comrades from dancing all weekend. Mondays - we bring you Fresh Monday Mixtapes – today we’ve got something from Andrew Smart and Justin Jarvis, the duo known as JustSmart.
Influenced by the sounds of Richie Hawtin, Rodriguez Jr and Tom Clark to name a few, JustSmart have an outlook of rhythm and repetition instead of melody and linear progression and bring what they believe is a lack of recognition for the electronical form and offer their love of the beats to the public.
The duo’s in-depth and intense interest in technology has lead them down an avenue that keeps them and their sound not only incredibly current while constantly evolving, but it keeps them working hard at keeping their progression in the industry at a constant as well. The lads are putting out some quality sounds, but additionally they have also created with their sound and vision an electronic events brand called ‘Its Personal Entertainment’ where they bring like-minded people in the electronic music culture together. Stay on-par with their updates as to what they are up to in the future.
