Carl Craig is to host a free pop-up party this week on the beautiful and (until now) party free island of Formentera with a little help from Cassy and Mirko Loco.
Inspired by Mad Mike Bank's legendary Somewhere In Detroit record store, Somewhere In promises to be a series of intimate, bespoke pop up parties spearheaded by Carl Craig. For it's debut offering Detroit legend Craig will be joined by Cassy and Mirko Loco on the Balearic island of Formentera. Entrance to the party is free and there is even the option of arriving early and enjoying a spot of dinner, courtesy of Sushi chef Nobu/Armani.
The series is built with a simple idea at its core: good food, location, music and vibes, and it looks like Somewhere In is going to deliver on all counts. The island of Formentera is a beautiful, relaxed island, untouched by the Ibizan party scene (think Ibiza before the clubs moved in) and therefore this is sure to be a unique and rare opportunity to see top drawer DJs on such an idilic locale.
