Francesca Lombardo is one of our favorites here at Pulse.  The Crosstown Rebels' rising star was featured on our podcast and if you want to find out more about her music and travels, you can check out the interview here. Francesca is in the midst of a busy tour schedule, stopping by New York City for only a hot second to play the Bespoke Musik party this Friday alongside Corey Baker and Rami Deejay. We managed to catch Francesca before her next flight for a quick pit stop catch up.

We recently saw a great video of your playing Arenele in Romane Bucharest online. It looks like a great show-how was it for you? What makes a a festival experience stand out for you-and what makes it not as fun to participate in? I played at Arenele Romane last year in June alongside Guti and Matthias Tanzmann. It was my first great gig and I've come back to Bucharest twice since then. I love those guys and Nights.ro who made last week was another wonderful experience. I love peaceful festivals where the energy is positive, people are smiling, and there is no fighting or police taking people out.

You're returning to NYC after a particularly impressive set for Robot Heart which has so far amassed 15,272 listens in the month since it's been posted-how does it feel to get such a massive response? I was impressed myself…Robot Heart has a big list of followers and it feels great to know they all supporting me.

We heard through the grapevine that while you were in the city last you collaborated with some other artists and had some particularly successful results. Would you be interested in telling us a little bit more about who you worked with and when and where fans can expect to check out the fruits of your labor? Who is that little bird telling all my secrets?

You'll be joining Richie Hawtin's ENTER party at Space Ibiza this season which is looking almost incomprehensibly massive all season long. That's really exciting-where else can people on the White Isle catch you this season? I have a couple of gigs at Circoloco. I am really thankful to whoever made this happen for me, it's exciting!!!

It seems like your busy touring schedule kept you away from Sonar this year, if you'd been able to attend where might we have found you over the weekend? Whose parties were you bummed out to miss? Did rocking Bucharest and Torino help keep your mind off of things? Definitely Innervisions and Life and Death parties if I was there as well as the One Records' Save the Day party. However, I was happy with going to both Bucharest and Turin. I wasn't missing being at Sonar - let's just say both Bucharest and Turin entertained me well.

You'll be playing for Bespoke Musik in NYC this Friday night before jetting off to Mexico and then Las Vegas for what will almost certainly be an interesting edition of Get Lost in Sin City. Will you have any time to enjoy The Big Apple before you play or will it just be hotels and restaurants as usual? I won't be able to enjoy the Big Apple, but I might just have time to eat one!
