Now when you go clubbing there’s a new way to party, monitor your drinking, and keep safe. A new watch called the Kisai Intoxicated, was released this morning by Tokyoflash and features a built in breathalyzer which measures BAC and lets the wearer know how much he or she has imbibed. Blow into the sensor on the side of the watch and watch the screen turn green if you are ok to drive, yellow if you aren’t, and red if you are really drunk.
For reassurance about your level of intoxication, the watch also includes a game that tests reaction time by having the user quickly click a button when the line traveling across the screen reaches the center. The watch also includes traditional features like time, date, and an alarm. The battery, which can easily be recharged with a USB cord connected to a computer, lasts for about one month. The watch is available for a discounted $100 for the first forty-eight hours of sale. The creators of this interesting new technology hope that it will reduce incidents of drunk driving since it gives people a clearer understanding of their mental state.
