The Sydney club scene is banding together this weekend to help promoter and industry legend Jack McCord get back to Australia after being involved in a serious motorbike accident in Bali. McCord's friends and family have started a fundraising operation for the $50,000 Medivac required to get him back home, and tonight Kings Cross venue Goldfish is holding another fundraiser with a bunch of the city's best DJs.

“Jack was left for dead in Bali after a fatal motorbike accident,” Goldfish explains. “It took over 2 hours for him to get to very basic medical help. He was taken to hospital unconscious where it was discovered he had shattered most of the bones in the left side of his body. He has been in a coma for the past 24 hours, and has just completed 8 hours of surgery to stabilise him in preparation for a medivac to Darwin where he will have a fighting chance at survival."

McCord has spent the past three years living in Bali where he is currently the General Manager of Mint Club in Seminyak.

You can donate to Jack's cause here and get down to Goldfish tonight from 4pm where there will be donations accepted on the door and auctions running throughout the evening.
