Live right now, the 55th Annual Grammy awards is happening at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and Skrillex has already taken out three awards already, beating out the likes of Calvin Harris, The Chemical Brothers and Deadmau5 in his categories.
Skrillex was awarded Best Remixed Recording for his remix of Nero's 'Promises', over Axwell, Photek, Eric Prydz and Tommy Trash, and later won Best Dance Recording for 'Bangarang' over Avicii's phenomenal 'Levels' and Swedish House Mafia.
Skrillex also won Best Dance/ Electronic album for his chart-topping 'Bangarang', beating fellow producers Deadmau5 and Kaskade. At last year's awards, Skrillex won three awards for the above categories following his ground-breaking 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites' debut.
Diplo was nominated for 'Producer of the year (Non Classical)', but lost to Dan Auerbach. The Grammys continue, with the highest nominated artists including Dan Auerbach, Frank Ocean, FUN, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Mumford & Sons.
