Sydney’s favourite Sunday kick-on SASH is celebrating its third birthday. After counteless benders and blow-outs, this iconic Sydney party brand have put together an event which is sure to blow the socks off any other third birthday you've been to before.
Like any good third birthday, SASH’s bash is an ‘Excessive Dress Up Party. As anyone who has been before will tell you, these guys aren’t kidding. The flyer explicitly states ‘No Dress Up, No Entry’. Don’t tell us you weren’t warned.
Few parties have had the longevity and resilience of SASH. While many wondered what the future might hold for SASH after the closure of the Abercrombie hotel, the crew’s relocation to Flyover Bar hasn’t slowed them down a bit. The crew have revitalized their brand, bringing a whole new audience of party hungry ravers into the realm. These guys have proven no matter what gets thrown their way, they cannot and will not be stopped
The calibre of artists at SASH is no doubt a major determining factor in its longevity. SASH has always been able to attract big name internationals, with global superstars like Ian Pooley and Desyn Massiello gracing the decks in the past. At the same time, SASH has always made a conscious effort to grow the talent pool at home. The crew have supported home-grown talent since day one, giving local DJs opportunities offered by few other venues.
This weekend’s lineup features Inxec, Mike Callandar, Owen Howells, Matt Weir, plus a special High Tea Set from Kerry Wallace.
