Deadmau5 to Arcade Fire: 'Dafuqs yer problem?'

It's become apparent that Arcade Fire has little love for dance music. First, they invited a fake Daft Punk on stage with them on Sunday night of Coachella’s weekend one to play a slow motion version of one of last year's biggest hits, "Get Lucky," Arcade Fire's frontman Win Butler asking insultingly, "What is this, guys?" Then the band then decided to give a shout out to “all the bands playing instruments this weekend,” an obvious dig at the heavy DJ contingent invited to this year's Coachella.

While most artists likely brushed the insult aside, one thing you can always count on is an angry mau5, who took to his favourite social ranting forum to respond, saying, "arcade fire needs to settle down. some dudes devote their lives to instruments, others to electronic composition by cpu, dafuqs yer problem? (sic)" Which, we have to hand it to him, does carry quite a bit of truth to it.

i dont expect to see daft punk pull a steve vai on stage...i expect to listen to some decent music, n see cool robots. no problem.

if i wanna watch real artists perform, id pick the opera before wasting a fucking minute of my life with arcade fire. #do youevenscorebro?

but since some EDM is enjoyable to me, ill go watch them fake it, and enjoy it more than you hate the fact that they cant play guitar.
