TBA Brooklyn, Resolute NYC and Wordless Music are bringing Moderat to Brooklyn on Saturday, April 26th. An inventive visual team and state-of-the-art sound system are among the many features that will transform the 20,000 sq.-ft., 2,000 capacity warehouse space into one of the most anticipated electronic music shows of the spring. The venue is located at 1260 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn and is fully licensed with three bars, two food trucks and plenty of restrooms and rest areas.
Comprised of the duo Modeselektor and the solo performer Apparat, Moderat was formed after the three musicians from Berlin met in 2002, subsequently releasing an EP together titled, “Auf Kosten der Gesundheit.” Six years later, they reunited in the studio, releasing their self-titled album in 2009. Their world tour supporting that album was monumentally successful, and Resident Advisor named Moderat the Number 1 Live Act of 2010. The trio released its second album, “Moderat II”, in 2013 and is currently in the midst of another world tour.
