Melbourne artist Griffin James, aka Francis Inferno Orchestra is back with a new mini-album. Fresh from national and international touring, FIO is ready to liven up your stereo with fresh new techno and house jams. An unusual and under-used format, the mini-album will feature 7 original Francis Inferno Orchestra tracks.
Emerging in 2010, the electronic producer quickly announced himself as a cut above in Melbourne underground dance scene. Crafting his sound from classic disco samples and a collection of drum machine beats, FIO gained a following from tracks like ‘Amber Express’ and ‘You’re the One’.
Growing up on soul and disco left an indelible mark on James, who continues to blend classic sounds with cutting edge beats. Now based in London, FIO is looking to expand into a burgeoning European market. Due May 19th, the record will be released through expat crew Voyeurythm.
