EDM superstar David Guetta and his wife of 24 years, Cathy, reportedly got divorced last week. According to French magazine Voici, the marriage was ended in a Paris court with neither party present at the hearing. Instead, the pair opted to stay in Los Angeles to focus on work.
The reason for the divorce isn’t known at this time, and David and Cathy are expected to continue to work together on their mutual business interests. They have two children together – Tim, 10, and Angie, six – who reportedly spend most of their time with their mother.
David and Cathy met back in 1990 while both working at Paris nighclub Bains-Douches, and decided to tie the knot later that year. Just two years ago, they decided to renew their vows for their twentieth anniversary. The outdoor waterfront ceremony took place in Ibiza and was attended by several other dance music heavyweights including Pete Tong, Afrojack, Paul Oakenfold, and Akon.
