Defected Records has announced the return of Defected in the House to Booom! Ibiza this season, and is set to host a mega 20-week-long party stint every Tuesday throughout the summer.
After a highly successful first year, Defected Records is ramping up for their second round at Booom!, which will kick off on May 20th just shy of the opening of the International Music Summit (IMS).
In what Defected's Simon Dunmore is calling a "ballsy move," Defected will be taking the normally jam packed Tuesday night slot:
“Recently, DJs have been prioritising the European festival circuit so moving away from the weekend will give us greater access to a broader talent pool and allow us to evolve our line ups. The current House renaissance, along with the fact we are celebrating our 15th anniversary this spring, makes this summer an exciting proposition."
The Defected team has promised the return of Defected in the House residents Sam Divine, Simon Dunmore and Flashmob, as well as multiple appearances from international guests including MK, Kenny Dope, Noir, Deetron, Oliver $ and more.
Riding high off the back of a successful winter season that saw Booom! open every weekend throughout the cooler months, Defected fans can expect further refinements to the venue’s “world first” Pioneer Club Sound System as well as dazzling light and visual installations.
Defected in the House will run every Tuesday night from 20 May 2014 until 30 September 2014.
