A fan is suing EDM star Skrillex, claiming that she suffered a stroke after a stage dive he took at a show at The Belasco in Los Angeles back in February 2012. Jennifer Fraissl alleges that Skrillex leapt off the DJ booth and landed on her head. She was standing near the front of the crowd and was pushed directly into his path. She claims that the injuries she sustained during the experience led to a stroke.
TMZ reports that she is seeking unspecified damages, medical expenses, and loss of income from the DJ as well as nightclub management. After news of the lawsuit broke, fans dug up a video of Skrillex stage diving at that very show but it is unknown if this is the actual incident that led to Fraissl’s injuries.
