The Flamjangled Tea Party that’s held in South Africa, has got to be one of the most colourful events in South Africa. TheTea Party is a weekend-long outdoor festival, aiming to create an event firmly rooted in the eclectic, artistic and humorous side of life, a cultural mash-up weaved together with a glittering thread of freaky funk, booting world beats, jiving rock 'n roll, swinging jazz, up-beat salsa, big beating breaks, honky-tonk, dubby-house, flamjangled folk, and anything that 'swings' or 'grooves', a conglomeration of all this really makes for an eventful, very diverse weekend.
Sadly, though, they have had to cancel this year’s event. Read further the message, uhm, short-story, that they put out recently informing Flamjanglers. They wrote:
