After releasing a single track last year, Kim Dotcom announced a new music streaming service Baboom, which he claims will not rip off artists involved. Now, he’s previewing the service along with the release of his debut album ‘Good Times.’ In fact, it’s the only album available to stream at the moment.
His tracks feature collaborations with Printz Board of Will.i.am’s crew as well as his wife Mona Dotcom and a list of other names you probably haven’t heard of. But it’s free and definitely worth a laugh.
Baboom will eventually allow users to stream and download music by several artists, with support for high-def audio and an ads-free platform. Kim has described it as a combination of Spotify and iTunes. Although many features of the site aren’t available at the moment, it is expected to include both the ability to build a music library as well as a jukebox mode for random songs.
