Though both Sharam and Dubfire have been hinting at possibly reuniting for some time now, it looks as though the time is finally upon us.

Yes, you read that right. Grammy winning Deep Dish, made up of Sharam Tayebi, also known as Sharam, and Ali Shirazinia, known as Dubfire, are finally reuniting. They've set up a website, www.deepdish.com, with nothing more than a play and pause button, and a clock counting down to the now imminent moment. According to our calculations, the clock seems to point towards 71 days from now (at the time of this writing), or March 28th of this year - just in time for Miami.

Deep Dish were responsible for 1998's "Junk Science" and 2005's "George Is On," several mix CDs, including Global Underground Moscow and Toronto, a Renaissance Ibiza mix, and countless singles and remixes, including a remix of Dido's "Thank You," which netted them a Grammy in 2002. The duo was one of house's favourites for years, until when in 2006, Sharam and Dubfire parted ways, looking to branch out with solo careers, which saw Dubfire develop into one of techno and minimal's top stars. Stay tuned to this spot for more details as they come in.
