Descendant to Bar25, KaterHolzig closed its doors for good on January 5th. The club was well known amongst Berlin club goers, and maintained a similar door and camera policy to clubs like Berghain.

Located by the river Spree in Kreuzberg, the indoor/outdoor year round club was owned by friends Juval Diezinger, Steffi-Lotta and Christoph Klenzendorf. Known for its DIY feel, the outdoor section included a dance floor in a wooden, cabin-like structure, along with places to sit near the water. It held a high reputation in a city notorious for having some of the world's best clubs and discerning patrons.

However, there's good news for fans of KaterHolzig and Bar25, as word has it the team will be starting a new project on the old property of Bar25.
