Few cafés around the world are better known than Café Mambo. It sits just next to the beach on Sunset Strip in San Antonio, Ibiza, and each night, patrons are privy to Ibiza’s famous sunsets while the world's best jocks do their thing. There’s hardly a famous DJ around that hasn’t graced the Mambo decks for a sunset session, usually providing listeners with the lush, Balearic sounds the island became so famous for years ago. Now they’re offering you or a DJ you know the chance to come and play your own sunset session sometime over the 2014 season – last year’s winner was flown to Ibiza all expenses paid and live streamed for two days to thousands of listeners.
Each week, Café Mambo will pick a mix theme, and based on that theme, DJs can upload a 30-minute mix to Soundcloud along with the correct criteria for entry. See the Facebook post below for full rules and details, and keep checking their Facebook page for new themes and winners. Good luck!
