Forbes has just released its annual ‘30 Under 30’ list featuring a wide variety of people within fields such as finance, entertainment, science, education, tech, and law. This year’s list includes three big electronic music artists who have had hugely successful years: Avicii, Calvin Harris, and Zedd.
Following Bruno Mars, who took the top spot in the “Music” category, Avicii comes in at second place. At only 24 years of age, the Swedish DJ/producer is described by Forbes as a “household name” and makes six figures per gig.
Also making the cut is Calvin Harris, who was also named by Forbes as the highest-earning DJ last year. In addition to his own DJ gigs, he also raked in cash by producing for pop stars like Rihanna.
Sliding in just under Wiz Khalifa, 24-year-old Zedd has had a busy year crafting his own original productions, remixes, and collaborations with Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber among others.
