
Bono surprised guests at this weekend’s (RED) Auction part in New York when he belted out his rendition of Daft Punk’s hit “Get Lucky” for a good cause. The U2 frontman sang the popular tune at an afterparty at Sotheby’s galleries, celebrating the event which raised over $26 million to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Bono was joined on stage by Daft Punk collaborator and disco legend Nile Rodgers as well as Beninoise singer Angélinque Kidjo, whose vocals ultimately steal the show. Check out the special moment below:
