For another edition of the Fresh series we caught up with Cape Town based DJ Mia Monroe to spotlight her latest mix. When Mia made the move to London she was booked to play the Giglum Silent Disco that lead her to play alongside international heavyweights gaining the experience that makes her the DJ she is today.
Mia’s name was on the bill for the legendary Ministry of Sound supporting Michael Woods, Morgan Page, Nicky Romero and My Digital Enemy to name a few that drew a considerable amount of attention to her vibe behind the decks. Mia is taking production on now with Soul Candi to fuse her signature style in sound that lends itself more toward sexy ambient vibes in the realm of Deep-Tech but diversifies and explores Minimal, Tribal and Progressive House alike.
