Forbes has released its annual list of the top 25 highest paid musicians in the world today. And while most of the top results are less than surprising, two DJs wound up making the list for the first time, beating out some of the world's biggest pop acts. Find out who here.
As noted in August's Top 100 Highest-Paid DJs list by Forbes, Calvin Harris clocked in at a cool $46 million for 2013. But what this newest list reveals is that Harris, who ranks a respectable 13 on the list, out-earned acts like Jennifer Lopez, Muse Jay Z, One Direction, and last year's top earner, Dr. Dre - even the Rolling Stones.
Tiesto also placed on this year's list, tying Pink with $32 million for the 25th spot. Though with Tiesto's recent decision to sign a deal with Universal Media Group for a 2014 artist album, the Dutch superstar seems keen on evening the odds. 'It would be really cool to have an album that’s Top 10 all over the world,' Tiesto said. 'With a partner like Universal, that’s a lot easier.' The full list is below.
