After 22 solid editions, Balance Music have been keeping the dance community entertained through their series of specially tailored and unique mixes. Balance have just announced that they'll be launching Balance Presents, a new series that focuses on some of the coolest and most lauded names in the underground scene, kicking off first with London producer jozif.
The original Balance series has been reserved for heavyweights such as Agoria, Henry Saiz, Deetron and more long-established names all looking to put their stamp on the series. For 'Presents', jozif brings his trademark musical take on contemporary house and dancefloor cuts, bringing the same unique and intelligent sound to the compilation that he displays through his FIst or Finger label with Craig Richards.
“I think I'm one of those people that is always trying to make sure that dancefloor is having a good time without being too dictated by it” he says of his DJing mentality. “Initially for my Balance mix, I really wanted to do a clubby mix. A lot of people will know me only from my productions which I don’t really tend to play in the clubs as I tend to play a lot more 'up', so I wanted to do something that represented what I do on the weekends."
