The previous Kolour Ltd release, Its House Not House ft. Bicep, Rick Wade, and DJ Sprinkles had been warmly received and followed up by an astonishing response by the vinyl fanatics and DJ’s respectively.

Out now from Kolour LTD - A semi-transparent "chocolate" brown vinyl is the second installment of Kolor Ltd, which is equally impressive and I reckon it will enjoy the same results as its predecessor, to say the least. Part 2 features exclusive tunes from Waze and Oddysey (Uk), Zoo look (UK), M.ono & Luvless (Liepzig) and thee extra-ordinary Terrence Pearce (Cape Town, SA)

Side 1(A):"Playin Musique" by Waze & Odyssey, offers an acute blend of old-school deep Tech vibes blended with a touch of today’s intuitive house elements. The groovy harmonic motion of the chords are voiced immaculately to flow with the rhythm of a rather Phat bass line. The vocal hook is homophonic to the melody; a remarkable resemblance of Marc Kinchen’s yester classic remixes like Nigthcrawlers’ Push The Feeling or Pet shop Boys’ Can You Forgive Her (both Mk dub’s).

Side 1(B): M Ono & Luvless’ "Auckland Joggers" – a laid back traditional treatment of piano chords (almost a sonata, if I may) demonstrates how full on this tune is musically. A fairly simple approach summed up with a groovy bass line, super delicious open and closed hi hat combos on a low energy tip supplies a rather catchy rhythm. The sampling of the vocal hook’s mutation is just a cherry on top. This chilled-out/lounge baby is perfect for your Sunday sunset-vibes or eclectic opening DJ sets.

Flip side (Side 2 - A): Zoo Look’s “My Mind (What You Do)” doesn’t compromise but gets straight into the Techy/jacking side of the groove. The smooth mesmerizing vocals heralds on a monster of a bass line about to hit your face and damn sure that bass comes in epically with fierce phantom power!!! Even though the track’s energy picks up rather rapidly, the consistent rhythmic flow (producing a rise and fall of tension and tonality) will surely keep you grooving on the dancefloor to the end. A must for your main set Mr. DJ!!

Side 2(B): Terrence Pearce’s “The Fantastic”, now this tune lives up to its name, “Fantastic”. This gem is solely driven by a bass line oozing with fatness, a catchy seductive vocal sample, mad stabs and psychedelic chords to tame any dancefloor freak. It has the right ingredients of a ”four to the floor” house track, all harmonizing to create an instant Deep-House classic masterpiece!

A proper house vinyl, with all four tracks that embodies individual authenticity and preserving the essence of groove that only an eclectic vinyl collector would go mad for; Melody, groove, bass and Rhythm - all harmonized on one EP - It’s House Not House!
