Melbourne Music Week has announced its first round of names for its upcoming 2013 edition this November, with Germany's Pantha Du Prince and LA beatsmith Nosaj Thing both sitting at the top of the bill.
Whilst the festival's main hub last year was the abandoned venue Where?House, this year a pop-up venue called The Residence at Birrarung Marr in the Melbourne CBD will be where the majority of the action will take place, including Nosaj Thing, the debut of Canyons' 100 Million Nights project with visual artist Daniel Boyd, and the festival's opening party on November 15th. Other venues include Flagstaff Station and the Melbourne Recital Centre, where Pantha Du Prince will perform his renowned show with The Bell Factory on the 18th.
The full programme for Melbourne Music Week 2013 is to be announced on October 3rd.
