Berge and Brundtland are the duo that we know as Röyksopp hailing out of Norway. Experimenting and exploring the countless avenues that one can find in the world of electronic sound design, the two after a break-up had crossed paths again during the Bergen Wave which is about when Röyksopp was actually formed.
The experimenting and exploration of digital sound’s paid off as the duo solidified their place in the electronica scene with their debut album in 2001 dubbed ‘Melody A.M’ released on the ‘Wall Of Sound’ Record Label.

The band continues to experiment, constantly looking for ‘that’ sound with genres pertaining to electronica including Ambient, House, Synth-Pop and ‘Non-Euro American Sounds’ says the duo. Adding to the maturity of their sounds and the package as a whole, the two are equally as entertaining on stage with their live acts featuring some rather eccentric outfits when they are in concert.

The duo have claimed several musical accolades including a number of hits in their native Norway as well as being nominated for a Grammy Award along the way of their career since their debut back in 98.
