Less than a week after Philadelphia beatsmith Knxwledge cancelled on Outsidein due to a family tragedy, the festival has now been dealt an even bigger blow, with headliner Zomby also pulling out of his visit to Australia.

“We received a call yesterday from Zomby’s management stating that he failed to board his flight to Australia due to unforeseen circumstances, which are still yet to be disclosed,” reads a statement from Outsidein. “We are deeply sorry we are unable to provide you with a more in-depth explanation… We still endeavour to bring Zomby out for his debut Australian tour, and will keep chasing those elusive producers who inspired us to start Astral People in the first place.”

Whilst Zomby's cancellation is very unfortunate, it's unsurprsing, with the Hyperdub artist having a notorious reputation for cancelling or simply not turning up to gigs. In the wake of the circumstances, Outsidein have decided to replace the second all ages OutsideIn show which was planned to go ahead on Sunday September 22nd into two triple-header sideshows, details of which are below.
