The Royal Family are set to launch the first of a string of quality events at The Cape Royale Luxury Hotel in Cape Town this summer. Julien out of Amsterdam performs both as a live act and DJ demonstrating the layers of talent the artist possesses. First breaking through in 2007/8 on a young Amsterdam based label called Remote Area and subsequently with releases on labels such as Intacto, 2020 Vision and most recently on Saved, Julien has remained at the forefront of the many talents which have emerged from the vibrant Dutch scene.
As a solo live act he’s also made quite a name for himself, performing at many of the leading clubs and festivals in Europe also pushing out as far as San Francisco, Seoul and of course the South African tour he had which capped the year 2012 for him.
This year has been a solid innings with a solid run of releases since his EP ‘Illin’ was debuted on Saved at the beginning of February – looking forward to what he has in store for us on the roof.
We look forward to the 29th of September to welcome back the international onto the rooftop of the Royale where partygoers will be grooving the day away to him and a stellar line-up to follow which include:
