The first round of speakers for the second annual Asia-Pacific Electronic Music Conference have been announced, as well as ticket sales now being open for the December event.
The conference, which will this year take place at a new home at Carriageworks, will include a number of well-loved and up-and-coming artists including Tommie Sunshine, Ferry Corsten, Krewella, Stafford Brothers, Tommy Trash, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Grant Smillie, Destructo, MaRLo, M4SONIC, Nina Las Vegas plus more to be announced.
Also joining the list of speakers are industry heavy-weights Richard Slatter (GM, Twitter Music), Matthew Adell (CEO, Beatport), Kerri Mason (Inthemix USA and Billboard), Dan Rosen (CEO, ARIA) and Adam Zammit (CEO, Big Day Out).
The theme for the conference for 2013 is 'Asia In Focus', with emphasis on the role of Australia as a leading force in electronic dance music in the Asia- Pacific region.
Held from December 2-4, tickets for this years conference are now on sale; you can find them here. This year will also include a student ticket for the first time, as part of EMC's committment to fostering up-and-coming talent.
