After global news reports of extreme discrimination against gay culture in Russia - and the unification of clubs standing against Russian laws - a new compilation of left field electronic music has been announced to raise funds.
LBGT Rights for Russia have put together a 24 track compilation, in which all proceeds shall go to GayRussia, who organise public rallies and pro-gay marches including Moscow's Gay Pride event. Legowelt, Cottam and KiNK & Neville Watson all appear on the collection, with further tracks coming from Perc, Heiroglyphic Being and many more.
On the clubbing front, Promote Diversity - an initiative to show unification through some of the world's coolest hot spots - are widening their net as Paris's Rex Club, San Francisco's Holy Cow, Zurich's Heaven Club and The Block in Tel Aviv join Harry Klein, Berghain/Panorama Bar and NYC's Output. Further events in Manchester, São Paulo and London shall be announced soon. Berghain have announced their full roster of residents to play on September 12th.
